While building Angular, React, Vue applications or anything on the
front-end you may need to connect to the back-end to access
database. You may need some kind of server with some data. You want
to begin development on the UI but the endpoints are not done yet.
You can use the fake API in the earliest design part of the process.
Instead of waiting for the endpoints to be built and then deployed
you can use JPO Fake Api to simulate the server response. The UI
developer can get started right away working against the expected
response and when the end point is ready swap out the fake API with
the real API.
You can use Fake API with any type of project that needs JSON data
to start with. On the left side of website you can find all the
calls you can use in your Application. You can test those calls on
your website or you can copy paste them in your browser console to
quickly test fake API calls.
There are multiple GET, POST,
PUT and DELETE request calls with large
amount of test data provided by us. Although this is a fake API but
we tried to make the data almost looks like real.
Just to note that while creating the resource, the
resouce will not be really created on the server but it will be
faked as if. So, if you try to access a post using the id which
returned by POST call, you'll get a 404 error. Same case with the
update and delete calls as well, the resource will not be really
updated on the server but it will be faked as if. While deleting,
the resource will not be really deleted on the server but it will be
faked as if.
Additionally, if you want to show loader on the client side you can
_delay parameter with your call eg.
_delay=4000 will delay the response by 4 seconds.
Delay takes maximum of 5000ms, if you pass larger value then it will
automatically get converted to 5000ms. Please Note that, these Fake
API are only for development, prototyping and testing purpose.
Please replace these API with the real one when you move your code
to stage or production.
You can use our fake API 24/7 in your development phase for testing
